Sometimes I wish life had a cheat code. A simple way to turn on invulnerability, to get extra lives, to start again knowing the mistakes, to open the doors, and skip to the end of the episode. I want to win. I want to jump from ledge to ledge and not slip, ask the right questions, take the right turn, and know which door holds the treasure.

But it doesn't. There isn't a cheat code, the path isn't clear, the script can't be guessed, and health packs don't come for free. I can't get an upgrade and I don't know which way to turn. None gets to restart and every slip is painful. You don't get to go back and try again, you can only say sorry, keep going, and hope not make the same mistake again.
