Our local Surgery's run for profit while pretending that it's free
Coz that new insurance company's got its way After 60 years our NHS is still regarded as the best
At joining up our health care, and at keeping up our welfare,
Now your corporate pals are queuing up for a mega profit fest
That'll land us in the same old mess they've made in the US
We'll never re-elect you if you wreck our NHS You knew, didn't you, the damage you would do`
Coz everyone who knows has told you so
So you hid the risks and lied, insisted you were right
Your so-called "listening" pause was just for show, It would take a man insane to ignore what they've been saying

A killing from the tax we pay to you. When you deny you'll privatise, your lawyers know you're telling lies
GPs will find they're legally tied to private enterprise
So tell your money grabbing friends "Go back to the US!"
And leave our nurses and GPs to do what they do best
